T A P would like to post some interesting posts from Currency who obtained information direct from SEC and you can PM him to confirm.
Also T A P has worked real hard and done a lot of research and D.D. on companies we represent and would like to be mentioned favorably as our portfolio should speak for itself having far out gained the #1 Market Fund and all Market Indexes with an approximate average return of 595% as of 3/3/99. To join free and view write-ups on undervalued companies with good management and potential go to T A P profile for url.
Below are the posts about one promoter who has been banned from SI already for violating privacy of others and should be recieving legal papers from SEC soon as Tokyo Mex already has.

This is such BS. If you are behind this web site, MM, then this is the beginning of the end of you and you don't even realize it. This is just another way to make money off of people when they don't even know it. What's the matter? Isn't having an SI thread good enough? Why would anyone want to spend money on a "private" thread when having this tool here on SI to share information already provides that? It's just a matter of time before people realize this and drop off like flies. And how about any issues with the SEC? You think a simple disclaimer will suffice? Boy, anyone that joins these "private" threads will end up finding out that this is very similar to being taking for a ride. Go ahead and do what you want. I guess people are going to find out for themselves the hard way that this is nothing more than a way to generate a market for hopes with the thought of getting a quick buck. And guess what? It won't work. This is only for fools. And you thought Sirk was bad....

Look. Your trouble isn't with T A P. I'll say this one last time and drop it all together. If you are going to promote a stock such as you do, you need to do it in the fashion that T A P does. I know at first it may sound screwy. But, if you think about it, it makes sense and gives you the protection you'll need once you are in front of the SEC.

MM,

What you don't realize, what T A P is doing is the proper way of conducting promotions for these companies. You just don't get it. But then, what do I know. Forget I even brought it up as you won't listen anyway. Remember these words as it will come back around to you and you're prepared to do some answering. For your sake, and the sake of all those that end up paying for your "service", I hope you all have this all figured out by then.

Take care

You're missing the point. I'm trying to help you out. Why? Because I like you for the most part. But the fact remains, what you are going to be doing is illegal and you don't even know it

It's all a disguise that I'm certain the SEC is going to be knocking on your door for. And what will your answer be then?

Q: You take money from these people in exchange for "stock tips"?

A: Sure. I do a lot of research.

Guess what? That doesn't fly. Here's why...

It doesn't matter that people want to pay you for it, that they make money on it, and give praise. You may not realize it, but it's illegal unless you are paid by those you are promoting to do so. It's that simple. But then, don't listen to me. Go ahead and learn the hard way if you like and remember this when that day comes and they ask you to explain all of this. One thing for sure, you won't be able to use the "I did not know that" line as it will be right here in print on this thread for historical review.

One more thought for you to ponder. This can easily be thought of as a con job, scam, swindle job, or whatever else people can think of. Whatever you want to call it, you are in control and you are the one that will fall when the axe comes down. Trust me, you will cut your own throat.

Also, for some interesting reading, dig up SEXI.

Allow me to explain for those that don't understand and before you go off and start calling me all sorts of things.

Yes. What MoneyMade is attempting to do is so illegal. He's setting himself up for a SEC investigation. The SEC considers this a stock promotion. The reason it's wrong is because these companies do not pay for the promotion. If the companies pay for the promotion, it's perfectly legal and all you have to do is disclose that they are being paid to do so. You can think of it as a type of false advertisement and there aren't the disclaimers to protect him from the SEC when he does this. If he were paid to do this by the companies, the responsibility rests on the shoulders of the company and not the individual posting on it. Believe me, I know what I am talking about

You are so wrong with your words. You act like this is some sort of financial advisor. The SEC will come down on this. Just give it time. Believe it or not, the SEC frowns on this type of activity and is all thumbs up if you are an IR and are paid by the company to promote these stocks. Let this be a warning and remember these words. This is exactly the type of activity that someone can find themself in hot water for.
