Great post memflyken, couldn't say it any better myself. How about that lucky call? I said $0.11 per share and hit it right on the head. I admit pure luck there. Back to seriousness. I know the analysts were expecting $0.08, but it doesn't take a whole lot of research on this and other boards to get a sense of what the Yahooligans were expecting. Something more like $0.12 to $0.15. Although I typically don't like making short term calls my guess is a big sucking sound tomorrow taking it down $20 or $30. But we'll see.

I don't worry too much about the expected fall from grace of Yahoo and the other internuts, but I do worry about the effect it will have on the rest of the market. This $30B of wealth created out of thin air on Yahoo and billions more on other internuts may cause a huge dip in the market when it ultimately disappears. Greenspan needs to make some statements to let some of the air out again.
