(FDX) and AOL's (AOL) Netscape unit have packaged an e-commerce alliance through the Netcenter portal that will feature a virtual delivery center for Federal Express shipping services. FedEx is also licensing a version of Custom Netcenter to create a delivery portal that will include Netscape content. In a press release, Dennis Jones, executive vice president of information and logistics services and chief information officer of FDX Corp., said, "Electronic commerce needs practical and effective services to continue its dramatic growth."
