<<DELL is still a great company..>

<<Michael Dell is still a genius. However, his company is in the wrong sector for the future growth.>>

larry: I would agree with your first comment and disagree with part of your second comment. DELL is doing more and more online all the time. By the end of 2000 they will be marketing and selling over 50% of all their products on the internet. They have recently launched Gigabuys.com and later this year may roll out DELLauctions.com ....Don't underestimate what Michael Dell and his team will do in the future.

You are right that hardware stocks have been a little out of favor. Most Analysts have also had unrealistic sales growth targets for DELL.
They are an $18 Billion company and still growing faster than MSFT.
IMHO, DELL is working to manage expectations. Listen to what they have to say at their analyst meeting in NYC tomorrow.

I still like AOL but have lightened up on it recently. I feel that CMGI and YHOO are even bigger momentum plays right now. I'm choosing to bet on DELL and CMGI big time -- with a side order of AOL. I also have a farm team of younger internut stocks with explosive upside potential.

Good Luck Investing.

Regards,

Scott
