FRANKLIN'S INTERNET PASSPORT BRINGS

INTERNET CONNECTIVITY TO LAS VEGAS!

</center>Westlake Village, CA.> Franklin Telecom announced today that
its subsidiary, Internet Passport, participated in Purchase Pro's client
presentation at the Mirage Hotel. Purchase Pro is an innovative
purchasing system designed especially for the hospitality industry, for
use by hotels in Las Vegas and across the U.S.

The Purchase Pro system was developed by Charles E. "Junior" Johnson in
conjunction with CEOs and purchasing chiefs from a variety of world-class
hotels in order to streamline and expedite the unique demands of this
highly competitive industry by effectively harnessing the capabilities of
the Internet. The resulting system, now available, utilizes the Internet
for a new level of comprehensive access to up to the minute data from
vendors to buyers, incorporating state of the art security features.

Neil Wyenn, FNet's vice president of sales and Sparrow Marcioni,
President of Internet Passport reported that a formal product
demonstration held February 21st at the Mirage drew representatives from
over 230 organizations who sell to large hotel chains. Marcioni
remarked, "Response was outstanding. Purchase Pro anticipates that they
will add approximately 30,000 Internet Passport access accounts as they
implement this service during the next twelve months.

Internet Passport is the exclusive Internet provider for this system.
They chose Internet Passport because of our ability to offer a higher
speed corporate network, with strong technical support. They also
appreciate our willingness and ability to reconfigure our network
operations center to accommodate their product."

Frank Peters, Franklin's president and CEO added, "This reaffirms
Franklin's commitment to find ways to use the current explosion in
technological advances in practical ways that make businesses run better.
Also, we have established a new office in Las Vegas, run by Mr. John
Ferrara, to represent Franklin in Nevada, for hardware sales, in general,
and Purchase Pro Internet applications, in particular."

Franklin Telecom, founded in 1981, designs and manufactures
communications devices, high speed LAN, WAN & Telco Systems. Franklin has
an installed base of over 100,000 nodes worldwide.
