Woman Who Claims Welfare is Addicting Is Awarded $92 Million Dollars

LOS ANGELES - Jane Jones, who has lived on welfare for the past 27 years, was awarded $97 million dollars in her lawsuit against the Federal Government.

Jones' suit claimed that public assistance destroyed her life and that the government tried to cover up evidence that showed that welfare was addicting. Said Jones, "I have lived on welfare all of my adult life. Welfare robbed me of self-motivation and the ability to gain marketable job skills. I have spent most of my life watching T.V. and gaining weight. Now I have clogged arteries and high blood pressure and its the government's fault. They knew free money was addicting and they kept giving it to me."

BNN's legal correspondent, Johnny Cockroach, was stunned by the court
descision. Said Cockroach, "Jones in nothing more than an ungrateful freeloader who wants to bite the hand that feeds her. I hope that this decision is overturned because paying her would cut into the money the government has earned from the tobacco settlements."
