It's kinda hard to tell sometimes with work-related injury stories. I worked in one printing plant where the paper cutter operator swore that a former paper cutter operator committed suicide by over-riding the safety features, and decapitating himself, despondent over a faithless woman. I think this was probably a fib. But if you had a strong urge to do yourself in, an industrial-grade paper cutter would do it PDQ. Painlessly, too, I think, the blades are maybe 5 foot wide and the sharp part is pretty sharp.
