Dear Techies and any Qualcomm employee lurkers: I have a real world problem; need advice. The problem with Lo-Jack is you have to know that the car has been stolen. Is there a way with present technology to install a security system in a car that will sense movement and instruct a cdma cell phone hidden in the vehicle to dial Lo-Jack as well as my cell phone number with a pre-recorded message to alert that the car has been moved, so that the Lo-Jack can be turned on and the car located. Remember the phone has to have some power and if it has a battery it cannot have to be changed but maybe once every ten years. And, you can't have a visible antenna because it is a classic car.

If you have further questions, private mail me.

{This should be an interesting puzzle, but in line with our discussion several months ago regarding possible uses for cdma, cell-phone transmissions for security, device control purposes.}
