I wonder if the underwriters knew this was coming. I doubt it.

Reflecting on the situation, I have mixed feelings. Webster is the investment banker/financier who put this monster together. Leveraging to the hilt is a great idea, until the business cycle goes against you. Webster really messed up on the timing. Of course, if he hadn't, we probably wouldn't have had the chance to buy FLC sub-6.

Loyd, on the other hand, is an oil guy. Maybe that's a good thing. He should be able to hold the operations together. (Help me out here; I'm looking for the silver lining.)

I probably need to do a little more research on the company's history. Webster was Falcon. Loyd was R&B. This thing could have been brewing for awhile.
