Bob, YEP! I still own it! What a crazy day! Someone set up what appeared to be Bloomburg news on a website. They put a Press Release out that said PAIR was being bought by ECI out of Israel for 1.35 billion dollars! If you hit any of Bloomburg's stuff on this site? It came up like you were actually looking at Bloomburg! Things started looking funny though with this being a Holiday over there and when the release came out it was 5:55am in Tustin where PAIR is. The URL didn't look right to several people either! Gotta hand it to people on SI! I would say that within 15 to 20 minutes after the market opened? The people on SI had the thing tagged as bogus! So the people on the SI threads were pretty on top of the thing. Problem was though it took probably the rest of the day for people to realize what had happened and absorb it. PAIR traded 13 million + shares and closed at 9 3/8 up 7/8 which is still cheap! But it created a lot of confusion and anxiety with the long term investors like myself. I couldn't trade on the information anyway. So the tuff part was riding the day out! PAIR Reports next Tuesday the 13th. If they beat their #'s and have a good Conference call we should start moving up anyway! As they expect the second half of '99 to be good anyway! We'll just have to wait and see!! Like I said the biggest thing was the chaos of figuring out what was really happening! It did make for a NON Boring day though! But I'm exhausted! Back to MNTG! I think being in the middle of the trading range is pretty good for today considering that the NAZ was down like 18 points? We seem to have moved the base on MNTG up some which leads me to believe if you see some good stuff in Vegas and Reno is doing ok? We could see MNTG begin to make some nice progress in the not too distant future! I plan on just holding MNTG for a while! I only have about $2,500.00 tied up in it and I think it's value will move nicely over time. So I'm just gonna ride with it and see where we go! I've been stuck for a while due to having all small and mid cap stuff! But I think their time is not too far off now! So waiting seems to be my best move right now! I tell ya the hardest thing I've had to do lately is "NOTHING!" Sit and ride out the storm! But it looks like the only way to make riding the storm pay! As when all these do move? Including MNTG and PAIR? I don't think they are going to move slowly! The payoff when it comes should be rather fast!! Just it's been a long time between paychecks! Anyway Bob! That was my day!! A real trip! I thought several times I was gonna wake up and find out I was havin' a bad dream but I didn't!! Your buddy, Jay
