Great post, CM. Today's wild moves were really pretty puzzling to me; was the disappointment that the HP announcement was about BEA and not us truly the reason for us to drop, at one time, over 30%?? Seems unlikely to me, but who the hell knows.
Being "married" to this stock is a good term, and fits where I'm (and most on this and the RB thread, I believe) at with it. Instead of watching with palpitations as it dropped through the floor, I watched almost with bemusement. There was no worthy reason for the drop, at least in my estimation, and so I didn't get over-wrought about it. I was glad when it came back half-way, of course, but I'm so sold on this company that if it dropped much more than it did, I'd probably just buy some more, even though it represents about 35% of my portfolio now (EGRP is about 65%).
Anyway, I don't think there's any reason to panic. As Weby said on the RB thread today--this is still the same company that we bought, really nothing has changed. When relisting finally comes, we'll be flying. |
