After poking around looking at courses I decided to take the course
offered by EdgeTrade... it is a full 3 week course for only $2,500 and
it runs all day, Mon-Fri of those 3 weeks. The first week and a
half is pretty much solid classroom and simulator work. The last
half of the second week you are trading in small lots with your own
money in class. The final week you are out on the trading floor with
their full time traders and they sit with you for 1 week of real life
daytrading. Of all the courses this seemed like the best course to
me because they seem to be really taking the time to train people and
for a very reasonable cost... I believe their focus is to develop
successful daytraders and then make their money on the commissions.
They also limit their class size to 15 people and the classes are
taught once a month.

Anyway, I'll let you all know what I think of the course... I am going
in June. The only bummer is that the course is in New York and the
hotel bill is going to cost as much as the course! ;-) If it really
lets me see first hand whether or not I want to try and do this it
will certainly be worth the money... I've lost or made that much in
a single day of trading before... :-)

Has anyone out there already taken or heard anything about this course?
