Revenue miss by 10% and stock drops 80%. I know the problems, not sure if they can fix it in the short term. I am surprised some of the analyists arent more bullish at these prices. Its not a single product company and has lots of room to grow and wide market share. I knew they would stumble but not exactly when but didnt even imagine it would go under 21 or so with so many products in the pipeline and new releases just a week ago. When it was a much smaller company with 20% of the current revenue, its market cap was higher. But then again I also did not expect it to go to 68 in jan either. Reminds me of asnd after they bought cascade and then the product transitions and sales team training and bugs etc, same problems and they cant sell large deals to make up fast enough, I think thats where they stumbled, they prob thought just 4 or 5 large deals would make the quarter and ignored the smaller ones, I hear they are working on fixing things, but a little too late, maybe in 6 months I can see it climbing back like orcl did. Oh yea, I think these problems were well known since a fund manager was saying a few days ago when the stock was at 30+ that he wasnt going to sell or buy right now and would wait 3 months until the new stuffs got their kinks out. But like I was saying before, price swings and ta seems ot happen 20 times faster these days. PSFT and ASND took almost an year to break. Now companies are down and out in a few days. Go up the same way too.
