Whether or not the laws cited are discriminatory, about which I will not at present argue, they do not equal ethnic cleansing, and do not in any manner refute my assertion. It is also not true to say that there is such a thing as a Palestinian people. There are Arabs, formerly subjects of the Ottoman Empire, some of whom lived in Palestine for several generations, some of whom did not. The Ottoman census takers had the population about equally Jewish and Arab about the turn of the century. But I have already addressed this in another post...
