MadHur, I did symbol change again in Quicken and was successful this time. I found where stocktax shows sum for purchases/proceeds I was still unsuccessful with manual entry...atleast partially. I did 2 entries from 12/97 They appear in the bottom window. But when I run the report they're not listed and still show up unmatched? when entered manually you hit the save button,then they appear in the bottom window. Then what? Quit? back to step#3? Why aren't they registering when I run a report? I think I asked before about exporting into kiplinger taxcut? Or do I export back into Quicken once I have unmatched positions reconciled? Or do I have to use turbotax instead? getting closer.... Jeff
