Thanks Caroline. Exclusive access to th NT kernel strikes me as an advantage, especially if the technical people from MS and CTXS can talk about it. I am not much of a software person. I am guessing from your profile you may be a software lady (expert). Please comment on whether the NT kernel could be reverse engineered to understand it, and then applications like CTXS's be written to be compatible with it. Which if that is the case (I am expecting) then access to the kernel is a time element, not a permanent barrier to entry, understanding that if code is worth decompiling, then it can and probably will be done. Or if I have missed the boat entirely, please gently guide me back to the dock to try it again.
Best regards,
m
