Count me in on the dark side.

- The financing deal. Ok, I studied it. I hate it.
I don't care that it has improved provisions relative to the previous
series. I care that it came from private no-name investors
instead of from a corporate partner. That seems completely
wrong at this stage and is most worrisome.

- Telco deals. I now don't believe they'll happen
anytime soon. I base this conclusion
on the fact that telcos are dinosaurs but not fossils.
If they were going to jump on Portico they would have by
now. I think they're biding their time watching and
waiting, or perhaps developing internal services.
So, imho, GMGC is putting all its efforts into the
"internet" plays (WK, Intuit and that ilk - we don't get
"500k subs" from Bell Atlantic in six months).

I have no idea what the revenue picture is for these deals.
We can only hope it is compelling. Talk about being in the dark.

- Some slight good news. We are getting PR at
least. For example Time magazines digital mini-mag
for April (I found it on an Alaska Airline flight) has an
article about Virtual Assistants. Portico figured
prominently, judged better than competitors etc. Bad news:
they also hammered on Portico's expense and problem areas
and questioned the market need.

- I am massively tired of this complete lack of news from
GMGC. Maybe they'll tell us who got promoted this week?
Announce another convertible?

- And I'm tired of watching GMGC be the dog of my portfolio.
Today's action was even more disconcerting since there wasn't
an obvious reason for it.

Perhaps all this negative energy means we're ready to leap
on wonderful news. Perhaps.
