I defer to your 12-13 > 16. Even so, eh? The effect of light, even artificial, on the onset has surprised me. Since this earlier phenomena, and more light both occur in developed countries, while nutritian plays the 'advocate' in less developed countries, it is, globally, an increasing phenomena--accerbating the problem I hypothesize. My wife teaches 2nd grade, and several children begin menstrating during her year. This is 8-9 year olds!
