jud, I thought IDTC's run was just about to begin, but of course there would be huge and wild fluctuation. AHWY has been a wonderful ride, took profit on most yesterday afternoon but still keeping a small 2K position.

I haven't done much shorting this year either, (DBCC, SATH, OTEX..). Personally I see going long or short as taking advantage of the directional movements of the stock, and there is nothing else to it.
