I've thought about you in the last few days in this crazy run-up that we've had--I sincerely hope that you weren't short.
I've never tried to get an IPO, although I could kick myself for not trying to get a piece of eBay last year! I've just been too distracted by work to go to the bother of applying. I did notice that some folks on the Yahoo and RB EGRP threads got shares of VUSA, so somebody is getting them. I wonder, if you're giving them thousands of dollars in commissions, whether you shouldn't call one of their customer service reps and state your frustration--you'd think that they would respond.
Anyway, good luck. I still sort of agree with you that this stock has out-run itself for the time being, but I thought that at 60. I never dreamed it would get to 85 so quickly, and I won't be surprised to see it pull back a bit, particularly if its quarterly report isn't absolutely a blow-out. If it is, though, God knows where we'll end up, particularly if they announce a split, which I suspect is pretty likely. |
