Darrell-

I found the thought in this article, that most of the ethnic Albanians living in Kosovo- indeed Yugoslavia- are not Yougoslav citizens to be new and quite interesting. Something our government is hiding? Nah, I mean if you can't believe the President of the United States, whom can you believe??

I don't find the article convincing on the subject. In fact, I don't think Mary Mostert pretended to have all the answers there- she was just asking some pointed questions that the State Department could not answer.

I'd be interested in some other views on this issue, if anybody finds them. It would not be the first time such chicanery occurred. It could be a bit like the Palestinians. Many of the "Palestinians" were people who came to Palestine in the half-century before the founding of the modern state of Israel, lured by the economic opportunities there. When Palestine was partitioned, the UN in its infinite wisdom, accounted all the refugees as having been displaced from Israel.
