It is good to know that you aren't the only one in these predicments at times!! I appreciate your own confessions here and I guess I have, since accepting Christ, known Gods forgiveness but I still tend to exclude Him from some things. I know this comes from an inactive prayer life, because I accept the Bible to be true, God to be God, and Jesus to be my savior, and there was a time when I prayed about every little insignificant detail of my daily life, but somewhere decided for myself that God had better things to do than to pick out my clothes or helping me through the explainations to my childrens million questions a day. I guess life gets busy and you just stop 'praying without ceasing' and then you find yourself here. What I am putting to you is not a question of faith, but an admission of guilt I guess. I am prolonging the inevitable here and I know I shoud confess to the fam, but this is tough. Thanks for the encouragement.Teri |
