It does! However, the banks "are fibbers" ( I'll let our finance minister use the correct term)!! They have stated that they have been lobbying for years to get the IDA to remove the "know your client" (KYC) from trading in Canada.

I called the IDA and talked to the person in charge in November last year. They had just received the formal request from the Banks. They had lobbied via their mouths up till then.

So don't expect IDA to do something about it too quick, they'll take their time!!

But, I am really glad its getting "airtime" in the papers, hopefully it'll get done quicker!
