BusinessWire, Wednesday, April 07, 1999 at 16:50

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7, 1999--Navarre Corporation
(NASDAQ:NAVR) today announced that it has entered into distribution
relationships for the new and emerging Linux Operating System with the
four premier publishers: Caldera Systems, Red Hat Software, Inc.,

supplier of software for the nation's major consumer retailers and
e-commerce resellers.
The Linux operating system directs the operation of a personal
computer and permits its applications to run. Alternate operating

distinctly from the other operating systems in numerous ways including

affordable price. PC companies offering the Linux operating system

Ian Warfield, Vice President and General Manager of Navarre
Corporation's Computer Products Division stated "Navarre's strength as
a market leader in the distribution of consumer software makes it a
natural transition to become a powerful presence in this new and
growing category. It is Navarre's intention to play a strategic
leadership role in the deployment of Linux and related software to the
consumer channel through its business partners."
Navarre Corporation operates one of the first "business to
