<<Yeah, let's put the fox in charge of the henhouse.>> The skunk does more damage to the chickens, the fox only kills that which he will eat, eats his fill, & goes. The skunk, rather, kills everything, smashes all the eggs, ruins the nests, eats the breasts out of a chicken or two and falls asleep bloated amid the destruction. Most often, even the coop must be burned before starting anew. Let's hope I'm wrong about these being skunks......
