hiya neil: +++++++OT++++++++++++ Can't say I share your taste in bitter or any English or Irish beer. BTW re: Speak Airport - I used it recently in a trip to Holland. It is growing in leaps and bounds now, quite a busy little place. The Odeon Cinema on London Road, where the Beatles played a live concert once, has been saved for restoration. The Empire has opened after a very expensve re-modelling. I used to go there after my paper round on Wednesday evenings when I was 13, with my mates - we paid 9 pence to be in "the Gods" and watched a different variety show every week - saw Morcambe and Wise when they were just lads. Saw Julie Andrews when she was 16 accompanied by her mother on what was then the first demonstration of a synthesiser. Julie sang English folk songs. The United ought to have won last night - they had a good goal disallowed for a "technical" off-side. All the daffodils are in full bloom and the apple blossom looks good outside my window. The Pier Head waterfront has been nominated by the UK to be included in "World Heritage Sites" alongside the Pyramids!
