taxman: I see Linux making a dent in UNIX platforms just as much or even more so than NT. How many retail programs will run on Linx. I am sure that Linux will help MSFT more than hurt as now MSFT can point to the marketplace doing its job. Essentially Linux doing the same thing in OS that MSFT did in browsers. If Jackson can't se it Appeals definitely will. JFD
