Michael,

Though ThermoElectron and its spin offs had their day, look at where they are all trading now. (at or near their all time lows)
As the daughter of an owner of TMO, (one who unfortunately didn't know when to sell... My dad is not a market maven and his broker wasn't minding the store) I only hope that AXC, the stock, follows in the boom part of the TMO's lifespan and not their more recent trends <g>
