Why would there be anything wrong with him owning one of the other companies... each of the respective technologies has its unique section of the applications spectrum... there is no need for a beggar-thy-neighbour, zero-sum-game mindset here... this pie is going to be so big everybody is going to get as fat as they want. Owning some of all of them would be a smart way to diversify.
