Several lawsuits contend pretty much just that - that company insiders lied to shareholders and defrauded them out of hundreds of millions. This management is playing the game to the max, IMO. Whether they are within legal grounds is something for the courts to decide (if it gets that far). They will probably pay off the lawyers in a nice settlement that will only serve to further harm current shareholders. That's the beauty of the American system - you can legally or illegally rob investors, either way the insiders are almost never held personally liable.
