and I think we should put all are marbles on diplomacy. However when we decide to use the military we should use overwhelming force right away. I think we will see more problems in countries surrounding Kosovo by this slower military actions, then if we would have went in hell bent and gotten it over with quick... We could have done that by being better prepared, using ground troops and having a clearly defined mission. Namely, removing Milosvic from power, putting him on trial for crimes against humanity, and destroying his able to use broadcast media to manipulate the population. imho. |
