Personally, I agree with Jubimer, Carl. Not the time to spin off Mass Data. 11.8 million of those TV aftermarket sales headed to near zero. DST has not gotten its true footing yet. If growth does come though, that business will be VERY profitable...they have a mighty low break even point....and even with aggressively reduced prices will have excellent margins.
And MicroNet ate some serious cash last year. Something of a gamble for AXC. RAID growth, as has been demonstrated by other companies, can be extraordinarily explosive. Really too early to judge, I guess...Genesis has only just started to ship. IF they also find their footing, a spin off someday would be a doozie. But not yet.

But the fact remains...the simple beguiling equation we all are aware of - Yahoo's purchase of Broadcast.com has raised the valuation bar for the whole arena ....and AXC has two promising companies within their holding company umbrella that, as BAM said, they may have only paid pennies on the dollar for.( and I have a strong hunch the word about that is just starting to get out a little bit).
Also happy here they went to this structure........flexible. Very promising.
