This thread needs to be revived !! This is the ONLY initial stage company I can think of that has a shot to have the highest market capitalization of all the medical stocks 30-40 years from now . The key to their success is the exclusivity they receive in the human genome project. Does anyone know if there are any other competitors attempting to map the protein sequences for all of the genes? And if there is competition, are they getting the same cash infusion and alliances as HGSI? Remember: Amgen has only 2 protein based drugs and look at their market cap!!!.
