Tim, I monitor two parameters for a feeling of how well-managed a company is-- ROIC and CCC. Of the 11 networking and telecom companies I watch, FORE came in with a horrendous 8.1% ROIC (LU was the best at 76.7% and CSCO second at 62.3%), and a mediocre 148 days for a CCC (CSCO was best at 70 days, followed by CIEN at 75 days). These parameters are designed to measure efficiency of use of fixed assets and current assets respectively.
