Sheep are so easily impressed and have such a willingness to follow. As you state, "They suckered me good, and I gotta give 'em credit..." Such a low requirement for impressing you? Hopefully, although I'm probably wrong, most people don't have such a low measurement tool. Lying is so easy. "They knew enough about the two companies to make a pretty darn good story of it..." All quality lies have truth woven into them. Just enough truth to get us to nibble on the hook on the way to biting down hard. Hollywood owns your mind regarding Bonnie & Clyde. Pick up a book on the subject and I think you'd change your opinion. The truth I hope would change it. Let's raise our requirements for allowing ourselves to be impressed. Lying is just so easy and people are such an easy target.
