Multex.com to be Exclusive Provider of Commingled Investment Research to MarketWatch.com
SAN FRANCISCO and NEW YORK--April 8, 1999--MarketWatch.com (http://cbs.marketwatch.com; NASDAQ: MKTW - news), a leading Web-based provider of comprehensive, real-time business news, financial programming and analytic tools, and Multex.com (NASDAQ: MLTX - news) today announced a multi-year agreement naming Multex.com the exclusive provider of commingled brokerage research for the CBS.MarketWatch.com Web site.
Under the agreement, Multex.com will create a customized, co-branded version of its Multex Investor Network product, to be located at marketwatch.multexinvestor.com, that will be accessible from multiple links on the CBS.MarketWatch.com Web site. This agreement will provide MarketWatch.com users with access to over 250,000 free and premium reports from more than 250 firms worldwide. Users will receive coverage of over 10,000 public companies, plus original Multex.com content and participation in online forums with top Wall Street analysts.
