JAWS TECHNOLOGIES FORMS EDUCATIONAL JOINT VENTURE WITH FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY
CALGARY, Alberta, April 8, 1999 - JAWS Technologies Inc. (NASD-OTC BB: "JAWZ") a provider of the best in information security technologies and practices, is pleased to announce that the company has signed an educational agreement with Florida State University. JAWS Technologies and Florida State University's Department of Computer Science have formalised their agreement to work co-operatively in the computer and information security fields. The scope of the agreement between the two parties involves the provision of academic and professional training in Information Security as well as the joint development and testing of security technologies and practices. The first initiative of this educational joint venture is the provision of a special topics credit course in security practices by JAWS Technologies at FSU in May, 1999.
