Every marginal development so far indicates the opposite.

I think the major developments will far outweigh the marginal ones. These include AMD and NSM and WDC bleeding to the point death. Add to that the increasing number of Japanese chip cos. cutting back or outright exiting the DRAM arena, and the prime drivers of the low cost PC must be questioned.
