Chaz2,

Since Cisco is acknowledged Gorilla in the IP sector, neither LU nor NT can be King or Prince in IP; you can't mix your metaphors.

LU is already a component of the G&K Index (http://www.techstocks.com/~wsapi/investor/qport-4789377) based on their Kingship in Voice. No one has nominated Nortel; they clearly won't displace Cisco in IP, and they face a healthy King in Voice. I've yet to hear one investor claim Nortely might take the Number 1 position in the emerging VOIP sector.

Feel free to start a public portfolio tracking telecom stocks, but I feel the sector is already adequately represented in the G&K Index.
