It is again my guess and only my guess that ALTS is working out some type of arrangement with a friendly party for cash in lieu of equity. Perception is important and I would imagine that ALTS is looking to nail down an agreement before all of these April shows they are scheduled to attend -- the earliest of which is AIMM '99 in Atlanta next week. The many "fence-sitting" potential buyers would certainly become "actual" buyers if they could be assured of ALTS long term viability through such a cash infusion.

Granted the delay in earnings can genuinely be attributable to a transition of auditors, however, I strongly believe that the Q4 numbers are unimpressive and the Q1 numbers maybe worse -- and as such , ALTS management is likely to pad these otherwise disturbing announcements with some exciting arrangement with a partner.

I do know that the pipeline is beginning to fill with good prospects for the purchase of EB, although we do know that these sales cycles take time to translate to hard numbers for ALTS bottom line.

I'm still very optimistic and I'm impressed with the "underhyped" approach RE is taken. He has quietly and systematically reversed the direction of this company. He seems capable of handling ALTS's specific challenges.
