MHMY has 1.9 mil float and not nearly as popular as SIEB. Might be ok to play for pop, like William does. But when it comes to holding overnight, I want EGRP, AMTD, JBOH or SIEB for max gains and minimum of risk. SIEB actually pays a dividend. And if you look at the floats on these, SIEB has smallest by a long shot . . 600k. That is why it takes off last, but often flies the highest.
Really, the play of the week on online brokerages was EGRP and AMTD, due to their leadership roles. JBOH, SIEB, MHMY, NITE all were under a buck not that long ago for good reason. The first two have name recognition with investors, so they have the advantage. EAST is probably the best value of the group here, but it is also the least known.
Now, for contrarian. . .MHMY was being loaded up on daytraders irc, as was JBOH and SIEB. I think I would be selling the gap tho. I don't see tomorrow as another up day. I doubt I will hold full position of SIEB overnight.
