HP cuts desktop prices Hewlett-Packard has cut prices by up to 14 percent on Brio and Vectra PCs based on Pentium II, Pentium III and Celeron processors. For example, an entry-level Brio business PC with 333MHz Celeron, 4.3GB hard drive, 32MB of RAM, 10/100Base-T LAN card and Windows 98 is now expected to sell for an estimated U.S. street price of $699. A Vectra corporate PC featuring a 400MHz Celeron processor, 8.4GB hard drive, 64MB of SDRAM, 32X CD-ROM, integrated 16-bit stereo sound and Windows 95 is expected to sell for $989.
Additionally, a Vectra corporate PC with 400MHz Pentium II processor,
6.4GB hard drive, 64MB of SDRAM, Matrox MGA G200 AGP 2X graphics with 8MB of video memory and Windows 95 is expected to sell for an
estimated U.S. street price of $1,214.

Paul, these prices seem pretty low, but there are two things that I don't know - what monitor is included and are they really shipping with windows 95 at this late date.
