Slider, howdy,

I was taking a look at Core laboratories today (CLB) It looks like the stock has tanked following the cessation of the merger talks (back in March) with that seismic group.

Right now the stock is trading around its Sept '97 prices. The company enjoys a wide customer base in the industry, and seems to be fairly well run - notwithstanding its unsuccessful efforts to further diversify into exploration services (i.e. seismic).

What do you think of this for a short term buy?

Regards,

Aggie
