Stephen did the same thing when he was younger when his mother practiced. "Stop mommy, you're hurting my ears."
Let's see how this be nice today thing works.
I'll test it out with yesterday, which got off to a great start when my wife backed the minivan out of the garage and got a bit too close to my company car and clipped off the driver's side mirror. I had been driving the company car for all of 11 days. But it turned out to be a good thing, I guess, because my insurance covered the damage under the liability provision, which has no deductible. Had the same thing happened but with a car we owned, the accident would have fallen under our collision coverage and we would have been out a $250 deductible. The damaged vehicle is being fixed at the dealer as we speak.
This weekend we go down to the inlaws to pick up our new golden retriever puppy. Our hearts are all aflutter in anticipation of the pitter patter of little paws on our shiny hardwood kitchen floor. Yes, it will be a joy indeed.
Plus, baseball season started this week, which is always monumental. You can't beat fun at the old ballpark, even when your favorite team has no starting pitching.
All here is well, though we will soon be getting a sneak preview of the storm headed Ish's way later today. Cloudy. Windy. Ominous.
