There have been rumblings about cable "modems" being sold in stores and do it your self setup by Christmas. For those who bought a computer with an ethernet card it should be rather easy but still not aol easy. Anyway, we'll see if athm can end dependence on "the cable guy" to get people up and running. If they are able to look out for overcrowded local loops(but exceptional subscriber growth)!
