Dropping a deck of punched cards only happened to me once, but I certainly learned not to ever do that again. IBM 1620. Assembly language. Loved the airconditioned room and the white-coated computer operators. Cut my teeth on the IBM1620, PDP-8 (Fortran) and the Intel 8008. Later graduated to the 8080 and the 8048.
