In fairness to MD, he is providing a real good value to the stockholder, i.e. a 38% growth rate in the underlying company. If the bottom falls out because the investment public wants to chase the hot young thing with the short skirt instead of sit pretty with a 38% annual growth rate..that is not Dell's problem. His problem is maintaining the 38% (or better) growth. To say, c'mon Michael, get this stock going again essentially says you don't want to be left behind when the new girl in town rolls on thru. Investing in a company that is not making nor is it expected to make a profit is foolhardy athough perhaps temparily profitable.
