Well, they won't have to open up their computer. They also won't have any hassles making sure the ethernet card is compatible (often @home installation crews carry two brands of ethernet cards) with the rest of the computer. Everything should just be reduced to running software and plugging the c-modem to the coax cord and ethernet port.
