Vitesse Semiconductor (VTSS) 57 5/8 +1: designer of high bandwidth communications chips reports fiscal Q2 net of $0.22 a share, a penny above the First Call mean estimate, vs a yr-ago profit of $0.15; revenue increased 66% to $66.9 million; see press release.... VTSS's good, I hope, earning report should help telcom companies tomorrow. Let's see.
