only when they throw up their hands and give up on debugging it. Or give out the source on an older version like NT 4.0. Either way I guess Linux isn't a "toy" after all. MSFT wouldn't lie would they?

Now that we have Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows CE, and three versions of Windows 2000 ... where do you see this splintered mess heading?

I think Bill will find plenty of ways to make money on wireless or broadband or consumer software ... but don't you think his days of OS dominance even on the desktop are numbered?

Just wondering.
